Woman killed by ex-boyfriend inside Plano home, police say

A Plano murder suspect was found dead inside a burning car after a high-speed chase along Interstate 35 near the Denton-Cooke County line.Plano police said they got a call about the deadly shooting at a home on Lakestream Drive, which is near Parker Road and Alma Drive, just after 10 p.m. on Sunday night. Investigators believe a man shot and killed his ex-girlfriend and then fled in a black Dodge Charger. Other people who were in the home were uninjured and were able to give police the suspect's name.Police set up surveillance on the car and got a hit on Monday morning.
