Man arrested after fatal stabbing in east Dallas

Dallas Police arrested a man and charged him with murder after a fatal stabbing in east Dallas on Wednesday.On June 27 at around 7:20 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a stabbing call in the 2800 block of Peavy Road.Police found a person who had been stabbed. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the victim to a hospital, where they were pronounced deceased.Police arrested 29-year-old Adrian Mendoza in connection to the stabbing. He has been charged with murder.Officials said Mendoza knew the victim prior to the incident.Mendoza is being held at the Dallas County Jail without bond.Police have not released a motive or name of the victim.Dallas Police say their investigation is ongoing.

Far-right influencer Jake Lang has bond reduced for June 10 trespassing arrest in Frisco

The bond amount for a far-right influencer arrested in Collin County earlier this month has been reduced, according to court records.Collin County court records show the bond amount for Jake Lang has been reduced to $250,000. 4 hospitalized after vehicle drives into Bishop Arts restaurant

Dallas Police say multiple people were hospitalized after a vehicle drove into a crowd of people in Bishop Arts on Thursday night.On June 18 at around 7 p.m., Dallas Police responded to an officer assist call in the 300 block of West Davis Street, near the Bishop Arts district of Dallas.Police determined a vehicle had driven into a crowd of people near a restaurant.Eyewitnesses tell FOX 4 the driver started backing up before stopping and backing up again, hitting several tables. Two patrons were seen stuck under the truck.Four people were transported to a hospital in stable condition.The driver of the vehicle was arrested at the scene.Police have not released the name of the suspect or what possible charges they might face.
