Handcuffed suspect recaptured in Van Zandt County following early morning escape, police say

Law enforcement agencies in East Texas have re-arrested a handcuffed suspect who escaped custody early Tuesday morning.Escaped suspect in Wills PointThe suspect escaped at 4 a.m. and was last seen in the area of Van Zandt County Road 3901, also known as Deen Road, according to the Wills Point Police Department.Authorities described the suspect as a Hispanic male, roughly 5-foot-5, wearing a navy blue shirt or hoodie and blue jeans.
