Dallas shooting leaves 1 dead, multiple suspects detained

Multiple people are in custody in connection with a deadly shooting at a Dallas apartment.Police said the shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. on Friday on Linfield Road.Officers in the area heard the shots and responded quickly.One man was killed. Officers detained another man they believe is connected.The officers also detained several people in a nearby apartment who are possibly connected to the shooting.Dallas police are still working to determine what happened leading up to the shooting.At this point, no official arrests have been made.The names of those involved have not been released.The motive for the shooting is also unknown.

3rd person arrested in connection to 2002 Frisco cold case murder

A third person has been arrested in connection to a 24-year-old cold case murder in Frisco.Frisco cold case arrestOn June 24 at around 7 a.m., Frisco Police and Waxahachie Police arrested 50-year-old Jason Honrud on a murder warrant in connection to a 2002 cold case murder.Honrud is married to Lisa Honrud, who was married to Weiss at the time of his death. Lisa Honrud was arrested in April in connection to Weiss' murder.Honrud is the third person to face charges for the 2002 murder of Plano resident Frank Weiss, whose body was found near Lake Lewisville within the Frisco city limits.In addition to Jason and Lisa Honrud, 57-year-old Keith Hart of Waxahachie was arrested in May on a murder warrant.Police said modern technology and investigative techniques, along with information from a key witness, helped them solve the 24-year-old cold case.Honrud's arrest affidavit gives more insight on the timeline leading to her arrest last month.The affidavit states Weiss had documented infidelity i

A violent May robbery at an Oak Cliff convenience store has Dallas Police looking for two suspects.Oak Cliff Texaco robberyOn May 10 at around 8:40 p.m., two suspects robbed a man at a Texaco convenience store in Oak Cliff.The two men are seen on camera before the incident wearing all gray and all black clothing.They both point handguns at the victim, who is seen playing at a game machine inside the store, before stealing his wallet.A struggle ensued before the two suspects hit the victim in the head with their handguns."They just run off.
