Cleburne police officer shot after officer-involved shooting at Sam's Club in Burleson

Cleburne Police confirmed one of their officers was shot after an incident near a Sam's Club in Burleson. Multiple agencies are currently responding to the incident.Burleson officer-involved shootingOn Monday, Aug. 24, at around 6:50, Cleburne Police responded to reports of an individual brandishing a firearm who was in a vehicle.When officers arrived at the scene, a pursuit ensued, which led officers through Alvarado and ended near a Sam's Club in Burleson at I-35 and Burleson Boulevard.Shots were fired, and the individual was shot and killed during the incident.One Cleburne police officer was shot in the leg during the incident.
