Testimony resumed on Saturday in the Karmelo Anthony trial for the fatal stabbing of another student at a high school track meet.Anthony, 19, faces a murder charge for the death of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf. Lower Greenville bar owner jailed after allegedly assaulting comedian, violating parole for rape conviction

A Dallas comedian is wondering how the man who allegedly assaulted her at a Lower Greenville bar in May was allowed to work with alcohol after his extensive criminal history came to light.Lower Greenville bar arrestOn May 6, 47-year-old Eric Vaughn Schultze was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault causing bodily harm.The alleged assault occurred when Schultze grabbed the wrist of Ashlie Knox, a comedian and D.J. performing at a Cinco de Mayo event at Dodie's bar in Lower Greenville.The event was attended by upwards of 300 people, according to videos taken at the scene.An arrest affidavit states Schultze, the bar's stated owner, refused to give Knox the agreed-upon rate of $450 for the performance, instead writing a check for $300.When Knox threatened to call police, Schultze grabbed her wrist.Schultze is currently being held in the Dallas County Jail without bond because his most recent arrest was a violation of the terms of his parole.In 2002, Schultze was sentenced to 30 yea

Trackdown: Dallas 7-Eleven robbery suspect turns himself in

The suspect in a dangerous robbery in Dallas that was featured on FOX 4’s Trackdown is now behind bars. He was captured on video pointing a gun at a 7-Eleven clerk and running away with the cash register drawer. 7-Eleven RobberyAccording to Dallas Police Department Det. Eduardo Lopez Villa, the suspect in the case saw himself on the news on Wednesday night and turned himself.His name and mugshot have not yet been released.The robbery in question happened on Jan. 13 around 10:30 p.m. at the store at 302 North Marsalis Avenue.A Black male who is about 5 feet 8 inches tall and about 170 to 180 pounds walked in and waited until no other customers were inside."After it’s empty, he displays a handgun and points it at the cashier," said Det.
