A third person has been arrested in connection to a 24-year-old cold case murder in Frisco.Frisco cold case arrestOn June 24 at around 7 a.m., Frisco Police and Waxahachie Police arrested 50-year-old Jason Honrud on a murder warrant in connection to a 2002 cold case murder.Honrud is married to Lisa Honrud, who was married to Weiss at the time of his death. Lisa Honrud was arrested in April in connection to Weiss' murder.Honrud is the third person to face charges for the 2002 murder of Plano resident Frank Weiss, whose body was found near Lake Lewisville within the Frisco city limits.In addition to Jason and Lisa Honrud, 57-year-old Keith Hart of Waxahachie was arrested in May on a murder warrant.Police said modern technology and investigative techniques, along with information from a key witness, helped them solve the 24-year-old cold case.Honrud's arrest affidavit gives more insight on the timeline leading to her arrest last month.The affidavit states Weiss had documented infidelity i

Two teenagers are in custody over a March double homicide in Dallas, with one also connected to a separate June homicide.Teens arrested for Dallas murders17-year-old Erving Estrada and 18-year-old Latavien Clark are both facing murder charges stemming from a double homicide on March 15 at a Far North Dallas apartment complex.Both have been placed in the Dallas County Jail and are being held without bond.Audelia Road homicidesDallas Police said the murders happened around 9:45 p.m. on March 15 at an apartment complex in the 12100 block of Audelia Road.An arrest affidavit for Erving says police found two victims, 21-year-old Madreus Ward and 20-year-old Ethan Dillard, dead from gunshot wounds in their vehicle.Through witness interviews, police determined Estrada and Clark, referenced under the names "Bando" and "Gen5" respectively by witnesses, were in the vehicle with the victims prior to the incident.The two suspects were known to frequently hang out around where the homicide took plac

Multiple people are in custody in connection with a deadly shooting at a Dallas apartment.Police said the shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. on Friday on Linfield Road.Officers in the area heard the shots and responded quickly.One man was killed. Officers detained another man they believe is connected.The officers also detained several people in a nearby apartment who are possibly connected to the shooting.Dallas police are still working to determine what happened leading up to the shooting.At this point, no official arrests have been made.The names of those involved have not been released.The motive for the shooting is also unknown.
