Where to Order Holiday Meals in Dallas This Year

With so much going on this holiday season, there’s no wrong way to start a new tradition or build on old ones. Whatever you want to eat, I hope it’s something tasty from little restaurants that are still trying by the end of this year. Let’s be glad 2020 is almost on the way out and have a feast to celebrate its closure. With that in mind, below are some places to find some great food for the holidays – be it for just two or the whole family.


The Jewish community may celebrate a little differently this year – virtual zoom menorah lights, mini latke parties for two. But if you’re still looking for ways to make this year special, we’ve talked to the pros about what they’re doing this year (and of course, where to get chocolate babkas or macarons with silver glitter).

Before Christmas

Bingham House
On Sunday, December 13th, Bingham House is hosting breakfast with Santa from 9am to 11am. eat, write a letter to the big man in red, attend the fairy tale hour and much more. Get festive on December 17th with a 5-course vacation-themed wine pairing meal ($ 75 per person). Reservations here.

Sixty vines
Make your way to the Wine Country Drive-Thru by the end of December: Sixty Vines offers a bottle of wine, sausage board and dessert for USD 50 per person. Commons Club

Meddling moth
Chef Suki Otsuki has prepared a Christmas takeaway dinner that includes a choice of vegetarian lentil bread or 44 Farms Prime Rib Sous Vide with Sour Sauce, Winter Salad, Roasted Root Vegetables, Duck Fat Potato Mash, Green Bean Almandine, and Corn Bread Casserole ($ 95) feeds four); Bourbon pecan pie is $ 25. On Knox
The French bistro won the Michelin-starred Bruno Davaillon for a holiday residence. That means that this year the former head chef at Bullion will be putting his refined French flair on both Christmas and New Years menus ($ 70 per person). Georgie butcher shop
The meat market at Georgie by Curtis Stone has a Christmas take-away menu so you can leave the peppercorn-encrusted Akaushi Prime Rib to the pros. See the full takeaway menu here. Fearing’s restaurant
On Christmas Eve from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., you can enjoy a three-course menu with a fixed price consisting of cognac lobster biscuit, scallops on homemade fettuccine, au pointe filet mignon, Lockhart quail with red currant, Cheesecake with oreo crust consists of more. Seelys Mill
The Beeman Hotel’s new grill wing offers Christmas take-away: smoked ham, whole pecan-smoked turkey, potato gratin, cast-iron cornbread, and more ($ 195). A 90 smoked meat
