Where to Find Warming Centers in Dallas-Fort Worth

If your power is still going out and you need a place to warm up and recharge your phone, there are dozens of temporary warming centers in North Texas. Many offer overnight accommodation and some have space for pets. It is recommended that you bring your own supplies such as blankets, groceries and water as most facilities have limited resources.

This post is updated regularly. Please send further information to [email protected] The Dallas Morning News also has a heat source here. In the meantime, Dallasites101 has a crowdsourced resource document here. Finally, this guide will point out restaurants that are open to those who need to warm up, charge devices, or use WiFi.

Many of these heat centers offer transportation. Click on the location for more information. Do you know someone who needs help locating or getting to a thermal center but cannot access or navigate the internet? Selecting 211 connects you to an operator who can provide further assistance.
