These are the best cocktail kits mixed up by Dallas restaurants & bars

The coronavirus pandemic, while keeping Dallas in check, is not keeping Dallas restaurants in the lurch, and cocktail kits are the perfect example.

While restaurants and bars are temporarily closed, Texas Governor Greg Abbott – in one of the few good things he has ever done – has issued a waiver allowing them to sell take-away alcohol. He could have done better if he had allowed them to sell their actual mixed drinks to take away – better for the restaurants, better for the customers. But Abbott’s rule is that restaurants can only sell alcohol in bottles.

This has sparked a wave of creativity from restaurants making kits where you buy alcohol, mixers, side dishes, and other ingredients to make your cocktails at home.

Note: If you want to buy alcohol, TABC laws dictate that you must buy a grocery item. Good old TABC!
