The Wind Chill Is 20 Degrees Colder In Dallas, TX Than Buffalo Right Now
If you haven’t heard, a blizzard hits west New York Monday night that lasts until Tuesday noon.
Snow totals could approach a foot or more across west New York by Tuesday afternoon, and another storm is likely on Thursday.
In fact, this second system is currently a mess in the South and Midwest, and millions of Americans are losing electricity to ice and snow and facing incredibly cold temperatures.
Here were the morning wind chill temperatures in Texas this morning
Currently, Dallas, TX has -4 degrees wind chill according to the Weather Channel. In Buffalo the wind chill is 23 degrees from 1 p.m. on Monday afternoon. A 20 degree difference between Dallas and Buffalo! That’s crazy.
This cold is described as a one-time occurrence. The storm itself is also being described as one for the record books that will find their way into west New York on Thursday after slowly moving through the eastern half of the United States.
All in all, don’t be surprised if you have a foot and a half of snow on the ground in western New York by Friday. With the storm on Monday evening followed by Thursday and Friday, this is the worst week of winter.
