See the Highland Park home ‘Real Housewives of Dallas’ star Kameron Westcott put on the market
Bravos The Real Housewives of Dallas star Kameron Westcott and husband Court Westcott launched their home this week. The couple had their own home designed by architect Will Snyder and built by George Lewis in 2008.
Listing agent Kelli Macatee of Compass Real Estate has known Court Westcott since high school. According to Macatee, the house is a good reflection of the family and the best and most unique features are those that you don’t see at first glance.
“It’s the invisible that makes it really special,” said Macatee.
She noticed that the exterior and interior of the house are beautiful and welcoming, but it is the attention to detail that sets the house apart from others.
The five bedroom, six bathroom, and two half bath home is listed for $ 5.125 million.
Macatee said the Westcotts built the house when they were newly married and pregnant with their first child. The 7,409 square foot home at 3600 Dartmouth Avenue has two stories and a fully completed basement – a rarity in North Texas. The main living spaces are on the ground floor with an all white kitchen and attached breakfast room, formal dining room and large living room overlooking the back yard.
Macatee said the house was designed for indoor and outdoor living, with fully retractable doors on the side of the living room that faces the back yard. The large back porch offers fun space with an outdoor kitchen, fireplace, and retractable screens.
Kameron’s personal office, a pink room, is in front of the house and has a secret closet behind the pink bookshelves.
All bedrooms are on the second floor, which can be reached by stairs or a window-covered elevator. The master suite has separate his and hers bathrooms, each with a closet and dressing area. A large second floor porch is accessible from Court Westcott’s side of the bathroom. The veranda is partially covered and has its own wood fireplace.
The three remaining bedrooms have their own bathroom. On the second floor there is a games room as well as a laundry room and a coffee bar.
The fully equipped basement is also accessible by elevator and has a theater, wine cellar, tasting area, wet bar, another game room, and another bedroom and bathroom that the family currently uses as a gym.
Macatee said the Westcott home was geared towards the modern family.
“You represent very well the family today,” said Macatee, where both parents work and have busy family lives. “The river of the house is easily accessible.”
