Police searching for man suspected of fatally shooting 31-year-old in northwest Dallas

Dallas police are looking for a man who is suspected of fatally shooting a 31-year-old man this weekend.

Police said the victim was found with gunshot wounds at Fitos Tacos De Trompo, a restaurant on the 10500 block of Harry Hines Boulevard in northwest Dallas, around 10:20 p.m. on Saturday.

Dallas police identified the victim as Willber Danilo Bonilla Montesdeoca, but the doctor’s office said his name was Wilbur Danilo Bonilla Montes De Oca. He died of his wounds on Monday, police said.

Witnesses told police that the suspect was wearing a dark sweater, white shirt, and dark pants and shoes when he approached the victim to rob him.

The suspect drove a red Acura MDX with the Texan license plate MWP1145 in 2004. The car removed tinted windows and a square of the tint on the rear window to improve visibility, police said.
