New ghost kitchen gives Dallas-Fort Worth a taste of celeb Guy Fieri

DFW guests can now take part in the rib sticking food from celebrity chef Guy Fieri: The Food Network star has opened a ghost kitchen concept in Dallas-Fort Worth with one location in Southlake and others in Frisco and Dallas.

Called Guy Fieris Flavortown KitchenIt’s a delivery-only restaurant with Fieri’s “real-deal flavors,” from Bourbon Brown Sugar BBQ Wings to its “award-winning” Mac N Cheese Burger.

Fieri has partnered with Earl Enterprises, which owns a number of chains including Planet Hollywood, Buca di Beppo, Bertuccis, Earl of Sandwich, Chicken Guy !, Brio Italian Grille, and Bravo Italian Kitchen.

He introduced the concept in a number of cities such as Boston.

In the DFW area, Flavortown Kitchen works from Brio Italian Grille at 1431 Plaza Pl. In Southlake with Buca di Beppo locations in Park Lane near the NorthPark Center and in Frisco near the Stonebriar Mall in the starting blocks.

You can’t go out to eat and unfortunately you won’t see Guy. According to a company representative, you must live within 10 miles of the location to receive delivery.

The menu consists of prototypical guy food including

  • Buffalo wings

  • Jalapeño poppers wrapped in bacon

  • Burger topped with mac & cheese

  • Cheesesteak egg rolls

  • Cuban sandwich

  • Chicken “Parm-Eroni”

There are also salads, seared pickles with ranch dip, and desserts that feature a towering chocolate whiskey cake.

You can order online. There is a flat shipping fee of $ 5 and the current delivery time estimate is 18 minutes.

DFW isn’t the only place in Texas you can find Guy: At the same time, he opened a ghost kitchen in Austin from the Buca di Beppo at 3612 Tudor Blvd.
