New business park planned east of Dallas

A new industrial park on the way east of Dallas will add to the growing pipeline of warehouse operations in North Texas.

Flaherty Development has submitted plans to the state for the two-building industrial project on US Highway 80 in Sunnyvale.

The Sunnyvale Business Center development will cover nearly 650,000 square feet and is located near Planters Road.

The new business park is worth more than $ 20 million.

Alliance Architects from Richardson designed the project.

Construction work should begin before the end of the year.

Flaherty Developments has a track record of real estate projects in North Texas, including the Pioneer 360 Business Center in Arlington and the Jupiter Miller Business Center in Garland.

The area east of Dallas has been a growing market for industrial development in recent years. Several buildings are under way in Mesquite and Forney along with the Sunnyvale project.

Dallas-Fort Worth is the largest industrial building market in the country with projects in excess of 30 million square feet.
