Missing man found dead from homicidal violence in east Oak Cliff, Dallas police say

Dallas police are investigating after the body of a missing man was found in East Oak Cliff.

On the afternoon of November 5, officers were called to the 3000 block on Southerland Avenue near East Kiest Boulevard, where the man’s body was found in a wooded area.

Police said this week that the Dallas County medical examiner’s office identified the man as 31-year-old Lamarcus Washington and found he had died of murderous violence.

Washington’s family reported him missing on September 10, police said.
