How to Look at Dallas Christmas Lights on Instagram
Last year, we highlighted the Instagram account of Michael Wong, a local real estate agent who has a knack for capturing great-looking outdoor spaces. In particular, we highlighted Wong’s work documenting the facades adorned with twinkling lights.
Because yes, you could slowly scroll the streets of Highland Park or walk to the intersection on Laussane Avenue for the scenic fairy-light view from Kessler Park. But it’s nice to be able to record everything from the comfort of your couch.
Wong looks like he’s going to keep killing it in the Christmas lights department this year, but we’d like to offer an additional Instagram option to round out your digital viewing tour: The Potted Boxwood. Dallas-based Christina Dandar has built a serious following (100,000 including Southern Living, Town & Country, and private label Serena & Lily) who share sleek and adorable exteriors and help make Dallas not always known-well-known architectural skills.
Dandar has been documenting the photogenic festival of Dallas since October, but Christmas is now in the foreground of their feed, where their themes range from flamboyant …
… to more timeless and simpler displays.
Each account offers a reassuring collage of Christmas edges. Have fun scrolling!
