Dallas Nonprofit Serves 2,500 Free Meals Through DFW Taquerias

The snow is just a memory. Most of the electricity has been restored. Now people are grappling with the ripple effect of problems caused by last week’s weather emergency. Some still need important utilities such as drinking water. Whether there is a lack of clean water or just digging through storm damage, people still need help.

Step into the good people at Staff Meal. The nonprofit went into action last week, working with local restaurants to feed the Dallasites. And they’re back. This time around, Staff Meal has teamed up with Dallas-based dating app Match to pay for Taco Joints to provide those with groceries who need it.

From Fort Worth to McKinney to DeSoto, Taco Tuesday takes on a philanthropic lean today. Anyone who needs a meal can pick it up free of charge – ask about the “Staff Meal Special”.

Staff Meal has a Google map of all participating taco locations.
