Dallas Market Center Presents Hundreds of Temps During January Total Home & Gift Market

Dallas Market Center, the lifestyle marketplace for retailers and interior designers, announced that hundreds of temporary exhibitors will be showcasing its marketplace in four different neighborhoods during the upcoming Total Home & Gift Market.

From gifts to fashion accessories, health and wellness to vintage and handicrafts, this complete marketplace by Temps features unmatched product discoveries from leading brands, artisans and emerging businesses in a socially distant marketplace that goes to extra lengths to ensure the safety of all visitors.

During the Total Home & Gift Market in January, the Temps run from January 6th to 9th, when shoppers enjoy daily hospitality and explore four neighborhoods:

  • Trade Mart 1: Luxe Gift Time
  • World Trade Center 12: Gift, Home, and Design Temps
  • World Trade Center 13: Apparel and fashion accessories
  • Market Hall: Cash & Carry, Artisan Cash & Carry, Vintage Home Decor, Antiques

Hundreds of first-time and returning exhibitors will showcase hot new products and brands including: Amish Farm Soap (Gift), Ann Gish (Luxe), Art Through Intuition (Gift / Demand), CliC Eyewear (Gift), Couture Lamps, and Home Textiles (Luxe), Creative Brazil (Artisan Cash & Carry), Drinks on Me Coasters (Gift), Dry Divas (Gift), Elite Accessories (Luxe), GO Home (Home Decor Cash & Carry), L & Y USA (Gift / Asked ), LZ Aurand Art (Artisan Cash & Carry), Recherché Home Furnishings (home decor), Taste-CBD (Emerging Gift) and Voyage Living (Artisan Cash & Carry). Growing exhibitors include Ethan & Associates and BS Trading.

“Having such a wide variety of temps to complement permanent showrooms is another way Dallas will take the lead in January,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO, Dallas Market Center. “We have tremendous support from exhibitors who see Dallas as their best new year opportunity to reach loyal and new buyers.”

The extension of the Temps into the market hall took place due to the high demand. The original plan was to present Temps only in the World Trade Center and in the Trade Mart. This increased demand for space is driven by three factors:

  1. Dallas’ track record of producing successful shows for more than eight months
  2. Dallas calendar placement as the first market of the year
  3. Buyer demand for vintage, unique products and home decor.

Special highlights of the Temps appear in the latest issue of Spark magazine, the pre-market magazine of the Dallas Market Center. The print edition was distributed to more than 50,000 retailers and interior designers. The digital edition is available at dallasmarketcenter.com.

There is still space available for exhibitors in the Temps, and the Dallas Market Center is offering free shipping to Atlanta for participating exhibitors after the Dallas Show.

Health and safety guidelines to aid shopper convenience

The market center supports the comfort, health and safety of all participants and continues actions that include mandatory face covering and temperature check for each person who comes to market daily. Other efforts include temporary exhibitor spacing, improved cleaning with products for hospitals, hundreds of hand sanitizing stations, limited catering services, no gatherings, and social distancing signage. Along with these new steps, there are security measures that are part of the design of the marketplace: open parking lots, large entrances, quick registration in multiple areas, wide hallways, multiple escalators to each floor, and showrooms with controlled access to keep the reasonable distance between customers.
