Dallas ISD cancels school Monday and Tuesday after storm

Dallas ISD has canceled classes February 22-23 as families continue to recover from last week’s storm.

District workers worked over the weekend cleaning up schools and fixing pipes and water damage, the hub said.

DISD was one of many counties in the state that canceled classes last week because residents lost electricity and water as a result of the winter storm.

The district offers roadside catering from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Mondays, and families can pick up enough food for two days, including breakfast, lunch, dinner and a snack. You can also pick up groceries worth a week on February 24th.

Meals are only available at certain DISD schools. Please refer to the map below for the closest location.
