The Dallas Architecture Forum, a nonprofit dedicated to educating the public about architecture, landscape architecture, design and the urban environment, will introduce award-winning architect Dirk Denison in a virtual talk about Zoom.

Denison, FAIA, is an architect, educator, and dedicated supporter of the arts. As Founding Director of Dirk Denison Architects, he founded a Chicago-based company recognized internationally for its award-winning design that reflects the uniqueness of each client’s needs for living, working, learning and creating. This national practice aims to provide excellence in a range of building types and scales, with an emphasis on residential, retail, hospitality, institutional, retail and campus planning projects. The company offers a wide range of services including programming, site analysis, design, preparation and management of construction documents and post-construction services, as well as interior decoration and furniture design.

Denison has been a full-time faculty member at the Illinois Institute of Technology for over 30 years and serves as the director of the biennial Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize, which recognizes the best-built work in America.
