On Thursday evening, Musgraves debuted in her online merch shop with a brand new ringer t-shirt that read “Cruzin for a Bruzin”. For those who didn’t pay attention to the ongoing saga, the shirt is a reference to Texas Senator Ted Cruz’s strange decision to fly to Cancun on vacation this week while his constituents across the state were stuck without heat, electricity, and cleanliness Water. After Cruz originally blamed his own children for the trip, Cruz later apologized and called the trip to Mexico a “mistake” in an interview with Houston news broadcaster ABC13.
