Check out this custom home built for an HGTV star and former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader
Former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader and competitor on HGTV design show Leslie Ezelle had this custom built house on Disney Streets in north Dallas. Ezelle, interior designer, artist, property manager and business owner, designed the house to meet the needs of her family.
She and her wife have six children, and Ezelle said they needed a lot of storage space and she wanted walls to display her artwork.
“I really wanted it to be like a museum,” said Ezelle. “I wanted there to be a lot of space on the wall for art.”
The 5,353-square-foot home on 10910 Candlelight Lane has five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a half bathroom. Built in 2018, it has a minimalist design with warm accents. The home sits on .395 acres with lots of green space and has Tesla solar panels for energy efficiency.
A floating staircase in front of the house lights up at night. After the entrance, the living, dining and kitchen areas are combined into one large room with a view of the rear terrace and the garden. The kitchen has dark cabinets that emphasize the white walls throughout.
In the lights, which Ezelle calls “jewelry of the house”, golden accents are attached throughout the house.
The primary suite on the first floor is flooded with light and has windows surrounding the room. The master bathroom has two sinks, a bathtub and a walk-in shower. There is an office on the lower level and the remaining four bedrooms are on the second floor.
Listing agent Marti Voorheis said the upstairs bedrooms are spacious enough to accommodate two queen beds. She also noticed that the back yard has enough space for a pool in the future.
The house at 10910 Candlelight Lane is listed by Marti Voorheis of Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate for $ 1.89 million.
