North Texas will be placed under an Extreme Heat Warning tomorrow as the region tied its hottest day of the year in 2026 on Monday, with no relief from the heat in sight.Monday brings record-tying heat for 2026Dallas-Fort Worth experienced temperatures as high at 106 degrees on Monday, August 17. A multi-agency crackdown on human trafficking and child exploitation during the FIFA World Cup in North Texas resulted in more than 50 arrests.Law enforcement officials announced Monday that 56 people were arrested and dozens of potential trafficking victims were identified during Operation Red Card.Undercover stings target sex buyers, child exploitationTen of the 56 people arrested are accused of trying to meet minors for sex, according to the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office.
