There’s a chance of rain in the forecast for North Texas over the next few days. But don’t get your hopes up too high.Friday ForecastFriday will be another day of near-record heat with a high of 105 degrees expected. The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for all of North Texas through 8 p.m.But a northerly flow aloft will bring a couple of disturbances beginning late Friday through Saturday. Isolated storms will be possible, with lightning and gusty wind potential. The best storm chances on Friday evening will be east of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Weekend ForecastOvernight, another quick-moving disturbance could mean a few more storms on Saturday morning. And one more bit of energy will likely bring a couple of storms for Saturday afternoon and evening.
