A Mansion wedding with a brunch feel? This Dallas couple did it right.

Brandon Green and Mark Walker met by chance at a hair salon where Brandon was working briefly. He must have made an impression because Mark asked the man to cut his hair in order to set up a double date with his partner and Brandon.

Surf-and-turf dates turned into group outings to the Nasher Sculpture Center, and before they knew it, the couple had been together for two years and eight months. On a romantic getaway by the lake, Mark secretly tied a ring on her dog’s headscarf and suggested Brandon.

Brandon never thought he would have a wedding; Mark did, however. When it came time to choose a venue, Mark had a few places in Dallas in mind to make his dream a reality.

The ceremony and reception took place on June 18, 2016 at the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek. The day had the feeling of a “fancy Sunday brunch” and began with a cocktail hour, which became the location of the ceremony. After the wedding, guests went downstairs to take a group photo and then to the bar for more drinks and appetizers.

The final destination was the dining room, where they shared a meal at a single, nifty table decorated with an all-white flower display by Bella Flora. The guests enjoyed catering and cakes in the hotel as well as light and festive melodies from Absolute Entertainment.

A particularly important supplier of couplings that is vital to the daily routine was Premier Transportation. It’s always the little things that make a big difference when it comes to planning the ideal wedding.

“It was extremely beneficial to rent the limo bus to transport our family from their hotel to the venue,” says Brandon. “Everyone was there on time for the photo session with the photographer and the day continued to go perfectly.”

The couple also raved about the service of Julian Leaver, aka the Dapper Diplomat.

“Julian made our entire planning process virtually effortless,” says Brandon. “Our wedding was exactly as we wanted it to be – spectacular, elegant and intimate.”
